Conditions of use : Dishwasher safe with this décor the colours are melted into the glaze at 1000 degrees c. Here the glaze softens and the décor sinks into it, thus making colour and luminosity indestructible. It is scratch- and wear-resistant. However, gold decors are not totally scratch resistant by virtue of their natural material properties. This décor was tested by the Rosenthal institute for material technology (iwt). It is dishwasher safe.

Microwave : suitability this porcelain can safely be used in the microwave.

Rosenthal selection sanssouci ivory : Pure passion for beauty
When frederick the great gave in 1745 commission to build his new castle sanssouci in potsdam, he also ordered a special table décor. During that time architecture and decoration was an inseparable unit. The relief of the porcelain set sanssouci by Rosenthal tradition with its delicate lattice structure, matches the rococo stucco ceiling of the great hall in the castle of sanssouci . The very popular set was copied by other porcelain manufacturers. In 1894, Rosenthal received the license from the royal porcelain manufacture to produce this truly original set. It was never changed and matches the set of the old fritz to this day. Next to the white enameled model, Rosenthal tradition offers a model in rare ivory enamel. The set' s warm shade reminds of english bone china, but it impresses in comparison with its hard sturdy surfaces.
